Tomorrow we will post the Justice Now 2008 video created by Andrew. We will post it here and on our You Tube Channel.

Justice Now

In about 48 hours our youth will spend a few days thinking about "living justly." Brad developed a solid event focused on helping youth consider ways to think about following Jesus with a sensibility toward others. Rachael Hurt, a World Vision artist, will lead worship and Sally Rymer will share her work as founder of Clapham Sect Phase 2. At 16 Sally considers it a call from God to make folks aware of and work to rid the world of modern day slavery.

Friday evening Rachael will be in concert at 8 p.m. Everyone is invited to share in this part of the event.

Greater Things Still to be Done

Over Labor Day weekend Nathan, our Associate Pastor for Community Ministries put together a service outlining the ways we work to weave the Gospel into the fabric of our lives and serve those in our community. Brad, our Youth Minister, put together a great video. If you missed it here you go.

Recycling update ...

We continue to work to update our website.  In the meantime we wanted you  to know of our recent statement illustrating the effects of our paper recycling efforts. Here are the facts relayed in our recent update.

Accomplishments & Satisfying Statistics provided by ABITIBI Consolidated:

Current to date this year
11.970 tons recycled YTD vs. 4.789 tons LYTD (Last Year to Date)
3 cubic yards of landfill space saved  YTD vs. 1 LYTD
49,101 KWH energy saved YTD vs 19,646 LYTD

Through five months this year we have nearly reached our totals for all of last year.
